How are Flush windows different to standard windows?
By Jamie from Modern UPVC windows team
On standard windows the openers (also known as sashes) are fitted in-front of the window frame.
On our flush windows the openers sit flush within the frame thus giving a complete flush appearance from the outside.
Both windows have the same weather and energy ratings.
Flush windows mimic the traditional wooden windows of period properties as they are virtually indistinguishable from timber when ordered in woodgrain colour or woodgrain white.
Their simple lines and proportions work well in more modern buildings too. We believe our flush casement is the best, far surpassing others on the market in terms of authentic design and energy efficiency.
