Guide for measuring your sliding sash windows

Due to multiple possible installation situations, please seek advice from a professional tradesperson to survey and measure.

There are 2 main ways that your existing windows are installed: "brick to brick" or "check reveal":

1. Brick to Brick

You will see about 20 to 40mm of visible brick showing on the outside.

How to measure brick to brick?

Measure between the external brickwork opening and deduct 10mm from both the width and the height.

Or

2. Check Reveal

The full width of the brick is visible on the outside.

How to measure check reveal?

Measure between the external brickwork opening and add 40mm to the width and 20mm* to the height with equal 20mm* sitting behind the brick. (*Providing there is sufficient clearance to do so.)
