Please note these lovely doors are made in the UK by Door-Stop, up close the door frame profile is different but colours are similar to our own windows & doors. As usual side panels/lights will be manufactured separately to the door including a reinforced coupler for added strength.

Energy Efficiency (Approved Document L Compliant)

Under new energy regulations for doors, all door manufacturers/resellers must prove compliance. Unlike dubious certificates that give all doors the same U-value, after ordering, Door-Stop's doors come with a unique energy rating certificate, created for each particular door.

Thresholds

• Full threshold for best seal and insulation.
• Half threshold, still UPVC but half height.
• Low wheelchair threshold, only 15mm high, Part M compliant, matches the external frame colour.
• MDS25 integrated cill threshold, wide at 115mm, 25mm tall, superior weather performance tested to 150Pa air and water.

High security

• All doors have PVC edging and to make the lock very strong, the lock edge has been fitted with a full length of 4mm thick powder coated aluminium lock strip. Strength has been tested with swinging a 30kg ball in 9 places.
• PAS24 and BS6375 accreditation, with Ultion cylinder with £1000 break-in guarantee from Ultion.
• Ultion security cylinder with £1000 break-in guarantee and "key control". Register here
• Police approved Secured by Design (SBD) with spyhole, security chain and Ultion cylinder. Recognised by many insurance companies.

• Yale Conexis smart door lock that uses mobiles and an app for access without a key, with many advanced features like allowing access to specific people for specific times and also come & go notifications.

Reglazable

Unique to Door-Stop, patented reglazable cassette system. In case of glass breakage or for an upgrade, it's easy to replace just the door's glass without needing to replace the entire door.

Hardware suites

A great variety of hardware, in suites/families of Sweet, Avocet, Fab-n-Fix, Yale secure and Stainless in up to 5 colours and also contemporary knobs and bars in chrome. Manufactured from 304-grade stainless steel with up to 10 year warranty.
Fab & Fix hardware has a 'Hardex' finish which is extremely resilient, over 4 times the industry norm.
Contemporary hardware comes in round & square knobs, short & long bows, long bars and long square bars on some doors.

Sidepanels

Glass side panels from 270mm to 1000mm wide in a large range of obscure glass.
Also composite sidepanels in 7 designs and 10 colours from 491 to 710mm width, with obscure or premium glass designs. Composite sidepanels can have a letterbox and are foam filled to comply with energy regulations.

Comprehensive guarantee

Door slab: against fade, crack, chip, blister, flake and peel for 10 years, except Darkwood & Oak 5 years. Thermal movement in timber products is normal and excluded from guarantee.
Frames: for colour stability, shape retention, impact stability for 5 years.
Sealed glass units: against condensation inside the double glazed unit for 10 years.
Ultion cylinders: £1000 snap guarantee for replacement cylinder and door for 10 years. Register here
